Mary Jane - A Song

Mary Jane sits on the wall
Hidden for all to see

Mary Jane, Queen of fun
The reason for her to be

The query is passed
The world of mouth spread

Mary Jane's coming to visit

A party in the living room
Where no expense is spared

A party and the guest of honour
Is still getting prepared

She is now ready
How pretty she is

As we take her down from the wall

Mary Jane invites us out
To sit in the garden

Mary Jane invites us to dance
Without the fire warden

The pyrotechnics start
As it burns and she burns

Mary Jane is passed around

The party's in the garden
Now everyone's invited

The part waits in the garden
And the feast bringer is knighted

Mary Jane laughs and twirls
Feeding our hunger

Craving fools, we continue

Mary Jane's in the air
Whispering nothing so sweetly

Mary Jane makes us laugh
And fills us so completely

As the comfort increases
And smiles prevail

I now dance with her

Crashing and burning, overdone it's true
Is not apt for her

Crashing and burning and turning and churning
Close enough truth to deter

Now that I have tasted her
Mary Jane I must say

It's the last I'll ever dance with you.

A fitting end.

I like how you've personified. It's very powerful.

I like this one, one of the best.
