To Question: Part II - My Kind

You're the kind of person who makes me think
When i get closer and closer
And shouldn't be thinking

They're the kind of people who'd make me drink
Hide away in a corner
And forget about you

I'm the kind of person who is so bold
Hold your hand when alone
Shrink away in company

Are you more me than ever?
Am i more you
Than those who've been you?

Can I adequately convey to you
The gamut I feel
In a late night typing of words?

It's all i can do to release myself
From what i feel
For you

Still enduring you and them and all else
Make me crawl away and hide/cry
Behind my veneer

All the joys of this life
Are they truly enough?
For the kind of girl who'd make you love

This poem is so peculiar. I get it...then I don't...that is the nature of poems I suppose. If I sat there and tried to analyse it, line by line...perhaps..

It doesn't make me feel depressed for some reason. I think my emotion-meter is waay off today. I got depressed at an inspirational song...lol...strange...
